🧞 Welcoming Newberallers
🇵🇭 Wendell Abarquez has joined Uberall on September 2nd as Quality Assurance Engineer. He has worked in the IT Industry for over fifteen years and has a wide range of expertise in quality assurance and testing at all stages of the software development life cycle. In-depth knowledge of Software Testing Methodologies such as Functional and Non-Functional testing. Currently, he is expanding his knowledge and skill set by learning the new test automation framework technology, and applying it depending on the project needs.
🇬🇧 Ryan Booth joined the Uberall team on September 1st as Revenue Operations Specialist. He is based in not so sunny Sunderland, and has previously worked with Daniel Kennedy at Revlifter where Ryan supported Dan’s services and success team. Ryan comes with a deep tools skill-set being certified in both Hubspot & Salesforce. He also enjoys the gym and eating out with his partner.
🇺🇸 Jordyn Enos started August 15th as a Business Development Representative on the NA Sales team. 🎉🌟 With a solid background as a BDR at startup companies, Jordyn is ready to make an impact! In her downtime, you can find her passionately cheering for her favorite sports teams or sipping on her beloved coffee. ☕🏉 Did we mention she played rugby professionally? Talk about dedication! Jordyn also has a degree in Exercise Science and Business from Colby-Sawyer College, bringing a wealth of knowledge in resilience and teamwork to the table.
🇵🇭 Juval Faltiquera started on September 16th as Customer Support Advisor. He prefers to be called Val, is based in Bacolod City and will be joining the Philippines team. Val has six years of experience in the BPO industry, primarily handling technical accounts. He has a background in programming and studied computer science. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
🇨🇦 Isabel Gan started September 16th as a Senior Product Manager on the Product team. Based in the vibrant city of Toronto! 🇨🇦✈️ Isabel is an avid traveler and brings a wealth of experience in project management and product growth, and she loves collaborating with global teams to learn and grow together. 🌍✨Known for her high energy and passion in everything she does, Isabel is ready to make waves at Uberall! 🎈🚀.
🇪🇸 Hugo Georget has joined the Uberall team as Business Development Representative on the 1st of August. He is originally from Biarritz, a town located in the Southwest region of France. Since 2022, he has been living in Barcelona. Hugo is a passionate individual with a keen interest in digital marketing and e-commerce. He has completed his studies and holds a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from INSEEC, where he further developed his skills and knowledge in the field.
🇨🇦 Sri Jaswanth Jasty started September 16th as a Product Operations Specialist on the Product team. 🎉🌟 Before hopping on board with us, Sri worked as a Product Operations Manager at Avigilon (a Motorola subsidiary) and even co-founded his own tech startup, Isthriwala—talk about an entrepreneurial spirit! 💡
🇬🇧 Paul Modaley joined Uberall as Content Marketing Manager on the 15th of August. He is currently based in the UK and is a father of 3 amazing children and a Springer Spaniel named Sweep. Before moving into the Content Marketing space he was a teacher for 10 years and for the last 4 years he has been working in the SaaS Martech space. When he is not working Paul enjoys playing guitar, martial arts and watching football.
🇵🇭 John Paul Pineda joined the Uberall team on the 2nd of September as Customer Support Advisor. He will be responsible for supporting our North American customers from the Philippines. John is based in Pampanga, famously known as the culinary capital of the Philippines, and he has a deep passion for cooking, inspired by his roots in this culinary hub. Additionally, he enjoys outdoor activities like fishing and camping in the beautiful landscapes of the Philippines.
🇪🇸 Enrico Pisoni joined the team on the 15th of September as Business Development Representative. Originally from Milan, Enrico has been living in Barcelona since 2022, where he completed his Master's in Marketing at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He brings previous experience in marketing and has also worked as a Business Development Representative. Outside of work, Enrico is passionate about football, both playing and watching, believing it fosters collaboration in his professional life. He also loves music, especially techno and reggaeton, and enjoys socializing and meeting up with friends.
🇦🇷 Daniela San Juan started on the 12th of September as Senior Product Designer. She prefers to be called Dani and is based in Buenos Aires, she will be joining Renata's team and brings over 10 years of design experience and began her career in graphic design. She also has a passion for traveling with her partner.
🇬🇧 Rob Short has joined on the 1st of August and will be leading the BDR team as Global BDR Manager. He is a native of the UK, where he was born, raised, and currently resides. With over 15 years of experience in global sales leadership, Rob has consistently demonstrated his expertise in developing innovative strategies and leading high-performance teams. In addition to his professional achievements, Rob has a deep passion for football and enjoys playing golf in his leisure time. He also has a flair for cooking and takes pleasure in experimenting with different recipes.
🇪🇸 Christina Steffes started as Business Development Representative on the 1st of September. She is based in sunny Barcelona and has experience in sales and outbound calls, having worked previously at Factorial HR and Osapiens. She is described as very outgoing, enjoys all kinds of water sports including snorkeling and surfing, and loves spending time with her friends.
🇩🇪 Marius Wilke has joined us on the 1st of August as Account Director for the DACH market, bringing a wealth of Sales experience from companies such as Ebury, Acutane and Mitsubishi. We're delighted to have him join the team and excited to see the results he can help us to drive! Together with his family (two sons, but no pets!) he lives close to Cologne and he enjoys pretty much every sport there is with a strong focus on skiing, football and skateboarding.
🐥 Family Time
🇨🇦 Julian Drobetsky's little one is taking their time but will be arriving soon! Once the baby makes their grand entrance, Julian will be off on parental leave, returning mid-to-late October. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Santiago Patron.
🇺🇸 David Lee welcomed his little one in September! He’ll be out on parental leave until November 4th, returning to us on November 5th. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Krystal Taing.
🇺🇸 Amanda Grilli welcomed her beautiful baby on July 25th! Both mom and baby are doing great. Amanda will be on parental leave until November 22nd and will be back with the team on November 30th. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to James Whittaker.
🇨🇦 Emilie Pownall welcomed her beautiful baby boy on Friday, September 13th! Both mom and baby are doing great. Emilie will be on parental leave until February 4th and will rejoin us on February 5th. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Rae Wilkinson.
🇬🇧 Andi Hirsch will be welcoming his little one in September. We wish him a lovely time together with his newborn.
🇺🇸 Sean Scott and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby girl on August 9th! Sean will be on parental leave until November 8th and will be back with us on November 10th. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Kelsey Walsh.
🇩🇪 Katharina Löscher will be out until around August next year to look after her first child, who was born on August 18. Anja Olivieri is taking over the majority of Kat’s tasks during that time, so get in touch with her with any questions you would have directed to Katharina.
🇩🇪 Karina Radvan welcomed her second child on August 24 and confirmed, that her first child is already completely obsessed with the baby. Please contact Laurence with any questions or concerns.
🇪🇸 Andrea Martinez is expecting her second child in a few weeks and started her maternity leave at the end of September. We wish her all the best for the rest of her pregnancy. Please approach David Carter directly with all questions.

🦸 Saying Farewell To . . .
We said farewell to a few colleagues over the course of August & September. 🇫🇷 Salim Berrada had his last day August 9th as he had decided to pursue a new opportunity outside of the business. Salim has been a key element in the solutions team supporting the French/EMEA market in various ways such as being a Partoo expert, supporting the team regarding vertical analysis/migration stats and many others. We thank Salim for his hard work and wishing him all the best in his future adventure!
🇺🇸 Devin Thomas had his last day at Uberall on August 16th, marking the end of his 2 ½ year journey with us. 🇩🇪 Frederik Wolhfarth had his last working day on the 21st of August after a long journey of more than 3 years as a Working Student in the Finance team. 🇪🇸 Sarah Wiegand had her last day at Uberall on September 25th. 🇺🇸 Liz Johnson will have her last day with Uberall on September 27th, marking the end of her 2 ½ year journey with us. We are truly grateful for her energy, passion for learning, and commitment to evolving. As she embarks on new challenges, we wish her nothing but the best. 🇩🇪 Andreas Angelakis will have his last day with Uberall on November 15th after more than 5 incredible years. During his time as Workplace Manager, many of us have come to know Andreas for his contributions in shaping the environment we all work in today, running smooth office operations particularly in Berlin, setting up Upflex and of course for organising our most memorable team events over the years. We are looking for an experienced salesperson who has a consultative sales approach, and a successful track record of growing and onboarding clients with polished presentation skills.
👉 Business Development Representative - (Spanish speaker): The Global BDR team has been growing but still on the hunt for one more superstar to join the EMEA team! The team is looking for a Spanish speaking BDR, ideally based in beautiful Barcelona with the rest of the EMEA crew.
💎 YTD 2024 Hiring Update
As we continue through 2024, we’re excited to share the latest updates on our hiring achievements.
🚀 Highlights
New Uberallers: We've hired 62 Newberallers to the team so far! That’s 18 more incredible colleagues since our last update, including Uberall’s first Growth Product Manager (hi Isabel!).
Offer Acceptance Rate: We've boosted our offer acceptance rate to an outstanding 91%, reflecting the great fit we’re finding with our candidates.
Referral Success: Though we’ve seen a small dip from our previous update, we’re still above 30%, which is a huge achievement. Keep those referrals coming!
Average Time to Fill: Our average time to fill has improved from 55 days to 53 days, showing our continued efforts to streamline the hiring process while maintaining quality.
These achievements reflect the hard work, collaboration, and commitment of every hiring team. Let's continue this momentum throughout the rest of the year and make the remaining months just as remarkable! 💜
Reflecting on our recent workshop with the NA Sales & BDR Team! 🌟
At the end of August, the NA Sales & BDR team joined in an engaging two-hour workshop focused on building high-performing teams. We explored the 16 personalities framework and engaged in meaningful discussions about their team dynamics.
The team demonstrated remarkable openness and a willingness to connect on a deeper level.The feedback highlighted how valuable it was for everyone to gain insights into themselves and their colleagues. “This approach helped us strengthen our effectiveness and collaboration as a team. Natali and Rob just wrapped up an inspiring two-day training with the EMEA BDRs! The sessions featured the washing machine exercise and a follow-up session after the team joined the Power Skills Masterclass on Practical Productivity.
During the follow-up, the team brainstormed around three key pillars, generating actionable ideas to address their challenges, each captured on colorful sticky notes! 🗒️ The result? A colorful board overflowing with insights and strategies! 🌈
These sessions empowered the team to define clear next steps in their work, with everyone taking immediate actions. By the end, they all agreed: “We should do this again soon!”
This experience was not only about team building; it also introduced small tweaks to daily routines, allowing everyone to work smarter.

They show us how we interact, work together, treat each other, and how we do the right thing for our team, company and our customers. The month of September marks a special time for Uberall and our incredible culture. At regular intervals, we review our values and associated behaviours to ensure they are directly in line with what is most important about our culture, and this is why we are extremely excited to announce a new and fourth value here at Uberall:

We have also reviewed all other values and their meaning, as well as updated the associated behaviours. With this refresh, we bring the best of what is critical and needs to be highlighted more together with what makes our culture already incredible. To ensure everyone lives our values, we will continue to share and highlight about our culture across the entire Uberaller lifecycle and at various forums. We also encourage all teams to review our updated values and behaviours together as a team using this practical value toolkit.
This month, we would like to recognise and remember an incredible Uberaller who embodied all of our values in a way that we will always remember and that continues to inspire us:
🌟 Remembering Chenoa 🌟
Chenoa joined Uberall back in January of 2022, she was originally hired to be a German account manager for the EMEA team. When she needed to relocate back to the US, we were able to transition her to the first US AM for the combined MF/Uberall account team. She was so eager to learn everything new about Momentfeed and Uberall so she could pitch products and bring as much value as possible!
Chenoa was so welcoming. She often scheduled coffee chats proactively with new hires because she was so excited to have new colleagues and welcome them into the business.
Chenoa was extremely competitive and always wanted to crush her numbers for upsell and for retention. She took every client challenge, win, upsell, and loss personally and asked what she could have done differently. She had several 50k plus wins with CMG, Telus, and Kwik Trip over the past 18 months.
Chenoa had a personal philosophy of 1% better everyday and she worked hard to apply that in work and in her personal life. She was a hard core gym lover and had hiked so many incredible peaks all over the world. She was so proud to have become a stepmother and wife over the past year and threw herself into making Allie and Avery feel loved and secure and building an amazing family life with her husband Andrew.
We will miss so many things about Chenoa but her passion for life and work and her excitement for achieving goals will be missed most noticeably! Just take a walk back through the winning channel and you can see her shouting out and pumping up colleagues on a regular basis. 🖤 🖤 🖤
